I am so proud of this sweet sweater! I just started making this type of patchwork recently and I love it! There are SOOOO many discarded garments out there that are made with quality fibers and beautiful colors that are just waiting for a little imagination... let's recycle, create and conserve!
This sweater is like a dress/poncho/pullover all rolled up in one... the super long straps cinch your waist all around to give you a cozy fit and the cuffed sleeves are so cute and are fastened with a button on each cuff. There is also an adorable felted flower I hand-stitched on with embroidery floss on the right hip.

This beautiful sweater is made from upcycled sweaters I was found at thrift stores, through friends, and in my closet ;) They are mostly warm, felted wool, and there are also some cotton and acrylic blends in there too... I machine washed and dryed all the sweaters to preshrink, clean, and test their integrity. All the seams are made with my serger, and they are sturdy and secure. The sleeves are extra long, the hood is extra cute, and the length will keep your butt warm :)
Washing this coat is easy! Just throw in the washer on gentle and cold water, and then lay flat to dry. This sweater is brand-new and in excellent condition!
