This beautiful skirt is partially upcycled from a wrap skirt that I had for some time. The striped print on the side panels is from that skirt. That material has a rustic and natural feel and look. It is probably 100% cotton, and it is really sturdy (yet pliable).
The front and back solid panels are black and the material is a blend of linen and cotton. The weave has a distinct pattern and texture. It is really unique and awesome.
The bottom hem is 100% cotton fine-wale corduroy. It is also black.
The black panels and the black hem differ only slightly in darkness. Both of thsee fabrics are *brand new* off the bolt.

All the fabric in this skirt was prewashed to shrink as needed and test it's integrity. The seams are all double-stitched and over-edged to prevent fraying and ensure longevity. There is a flapped pocket on the side with a button closure, and there is another *hidden stash* pocket inside in the front. The care for this skirt is easy. Just machine wash and dry. It has been worn only once and is in excellent condition.
