Thanks for checking out these awesome shorts! They are one of two pairs I made from a bunch of "X" created from strips of lots of earthy corduroy blues, greys, browns, and greens. ((See also the Kismet Shorts)) The blocks are bordered with the most amazing strips of a smokey wide wale blue and then finished off with stretchy cotton/spandex panels of tan and greyish-black.

These shorts are made entirely from lots of different types of corduroy creating a mix of earth tones like blues, browns, greens and some black. The varying thickness of wales add to the full texture and feel. The pockets are lined with a basic cotton to reduce bulkiness and all the material is cotton except for the panels used for the center front and center back... those are a blend of spandex and cotton, which lends to a more comfortable fit and more strength and give at those critical seams.

All the material used was pre-washed to test the fabrics' integrity and pre-shrink as needed. All the seams are double-stitched to ensure longevity throughout lots of wear, and all the fabric is over-edged where needed to prevent fraying. There are *three* pockets total... 2 deep, side-seam pockets and a HIDDEN STASH inside in the front.
