Thanks so much for checking out these amazing pants! They were so exciting to make :) All the tiny quilt-clocked fabrics go so perfectly with the thin-wale blue and green corduroy. There is a lot of fabric in these pants, but it is all very lightweight and flows so easily... the pants are so comfortable and fun to wear!

The fabric is over-edged everywhere except on the inner patches of the quiltblocks... there the fabric is stitched with a very small distance between stitches... very tight! In this instance, that's actually better than if it were double-stitched with a larger distance. The remaining panels and patches are sewn in my usual, tried-and-true way, that is over-edged and double-stitched. I have taken the irresistible liberty of having worn these beauties a couple of times so far, and of course, have run them though the washer and dryer, and they are in excellent condition.
The sweetest aspect of the pants is the dragonfly appliqué stitched onto the left side... all the fabric is fused on with Heat-n-Bond (which is a totally amazing, tough product) and then zig-zag stitched all around. For sure it is on there to stay! These pants have two (2) very unique pockets on each side more towards the front, and they are large and roomy. There is also the all-important *hidden stash* inside in the front for all your goodies :)
