This dress is so beautiful! It combines awesome calico cottons and accents them with the right colors of corduroy... light green and purple. The bottom picture shows a good rendering of the floral calico, and kinda shows the pint of the almost all white calico... that is actually a stone design rather than floral... more like the detail in a slab of marble or granite. The bodice is all corduroy, fully lined for maximum comfort and support, and has the cutest starflower applique stiched on with a zigzag stich and also bonded with heated fusing. For sure it will last many washings and wearings, as will the entire dress! All the seams are double stiched, and all the fabric is over-edged to prevent fraying... this dress was made with much love and is nothing but quality :)
The dress's bodice measures 26" across (not including the loops for the straps to run though... the sizing varies depending on how much back you like to show!) The length along the center-front is 50" and can be hemmed for the winner for free! The waist is adjustable... it cinches along the lower back with a drawstring that is 39" at it's maximum. The hem spins out to a full 80". There are two large patch pockets and they are reinforced so as not to rip the fabric they are sewn on... great for dancing and not having to lose a thing! This dress is perfect for all the festivals and shows coming up, you'd be such a sweet mama :)
