This awesome patchwork dress is so beautiful! The colors I focused on while designing the dress were the same tones found in porcelain ceramics; namely blues, browns, whites and a little bit of greens and reds that streak through here and there. The mix of the fabric's prints gives a balance to the colors perceived by your eye and also to how the flow of the dress behaves as you move and dance! The bodice consists of a sturdy, blue corduroy framing the calico patches width-wise, and the main body of the dress has a lot of calicos and thin-waled solid corduroys, keeping this dress cool and light for the summer months :)

This dress is of awesome quality and will last you for many, many seasons. The bodice is fully lined for comfort and it is also *darted* to lend more support to your bust. The adjustable straps do this also, as well as enabling this dress fit a range of larger sizes. All the fabric is over-edged to prevent fraying and all the seams are double-stitched to ensure longevity as well as iron-pressed to create a smooth and comfortable fit.

More, more, more! :) There are two reinforced, lined patch pockets in the front, large and sturdy so they can hold all your valuables... there is an elastic cinch on the lower back to keep you feeling snug... and there is the sweetest lace trim covering the main seams along the length of the dress, framing the patches beautifully. This dress has only been worn out only once to a show and worn for the photos you see here. It is in excellent condition!
