I've really outdone myself this time!!! This dress has got to be one of the most phenomenal pieces I've ever created! The idea for it occured to me a long time ago, and it is so amazing to see it now that it has manifested!
The dress is full of beauty and lots of detail from top to bottom! The bodice adds to the beauty of the panels without distracting from the focus of the random patches and the shape and fullness of the fit. The A-lined panels started as "mini-quilts" of randomly placed square and rectangle calicos of greens, browns, and blues. The accent of alternating wale tan corduroy brings all the prints together and the weight of the material brings a calming balance. The bodice has the cutest 1" squares forming a finishing border for the open-back. There is a tiny pocket in the center as a design, and also as a practicality for anything small and close to your heart (*wink*). There is also a large pocket on the right side. Both pockets are lined and both are reinforced so they will not rip with lots of use.

Most of the fabric used has been pre-washed to test the integrity and strength of the material. All the seams are at least double-stitched to ensure longevity and all the fabric was over-edged to prevent fraying. The open-back allows the perfect fit for anyone with a small to medium sized bust and the adjustable straps are durable and comfortable. There is a drawstring cinch along the lower back which along with the darted bodice lends lots of support to your bust which is sometimes uncommon with patchwork dresses. The length can be altered for your height without changing the whole look of the dress because the bottom-most patches are large enough to be trimmed or added to.
The dress is *brand-new* and has never been worn except for in the photos. It was so much fun to make, and lot of time and care went into this piece. As with all that I create; no corners were cut, and quality and long-lasting wear are of utmost importance. Many Blessings!
Enjoy!
