This dress is so amazing! It is mostly a medium-wale corduroy, so it is very sturdy and great for the cooler months ahead! The bodice is meant for someone with a MEDIUM sized frame, and it is darted along the sides and in the front for the optimal, perfect fit! The A-line panels of corduroy allow for larger hips, and the drawstring along the lower back tightens to fit your exact waist size!
The bodice is fully lined for comfort and the darts provide great support for 34B-38C bust sizes. The triple set of loops in the back along with the reinforced extra long straps make for the perfect adjustable fit. The length of the dress finishes off with a *gathered hem*... the dress is a bit long as is and would probably be perfect for someone around 5'6-8" or so... However, it would be no problem and no charge to shorten the hem for your specific height.

The straps are top-stitched on after having been folded over and under.... they are on to stay! The bodice is entirely corduroy (the underside is made of the same fabric). The detailed picture above shows how it is folded under the arm to curve into the correct shape towards the back. Furthermore, I also darted along the sides of the bodice to make it even more accommodating.
All the fabric is over-edged and all the seams are double-stitched so as to ensure longevity. There are two (2) phatty, large lined, patch pockets made of the same cord as the main panels along with a mini-print calico for the top trim. They are top-stitched on and reinforced so they won't rip the fabric they are tacked onto. The dress is *brand new* and has never been worn except for in the pictures. All the material is 100% cotton, so the dress would be fine in the washer and dryer (cold water and dry low).
