Hey all!
This top is so spectacular!!! I am so happy with how it turned out, and I couldn't have planned it any better :) The colors, the applique, the fit... they all are at the top of their form! The bodice's tan corduroy and the warm toned batik print just so deserved to be together. By themsselves, this top would have been so beautiful, however the print just so called out to me a sunset scene, so I looked through my stash for just the right red-toned calico, and so the top came about.

This top is *brand-new* and in excellent condition. All the material had been pre-washed to test it's integrity, all the fabric was over-edged to prevent fraying and all the seams are at least double-stitched to ensure longevity. The bodice is fully lined for comfort and the straps are adjustable to allow for the perfect fit for smaller sizes.

The spiral sun applique is a circle of fabric fused on and then zig-zag stitched along the outside and all along the spiral. The rays of the sun are also tacked on and secured on in the same way. There's also a bit of cute and crude embroidery for the inner, smaller sunrays.
