Thanks so much for checking out this new apron top I made! It started with the triangular patches and grew out from there. The panels of the blue calico really reminded me of ocean-blue waters... and it just so happens I was reading Galapagos by Vonnegut at the time, hence the name. (Awesome book, btw! :)
There is a lot of detail in this top, and the close up photos show these things well, but it really is something to see in person! The white fabric is actually not solid, but rather a white-on-white calico with a beautiful vine-like design. The triangular patches are from a scrap that came my way some time ago. It's one of those fabrics that jumped out at me every time I would sort through my stash, and I knew I'd save it for when it was right.
The bodice is a fine-wale brown corduroy. It is fully lined and also *darted* for comfort and lends lots of support for smaller mamas with larger cup sizes.

Measurements
~29" across the darted bodice
(not including the double set of loops)
22.5" along the center front

This awesome top is *brand new* and has never been worn. All the fabric is 100% cotton and was pre-washed to test the strength and integrity of the material. All the seams were double-stitched to ensure longevity and each patch was over-edged to prevent fraying. The straps are super long and will allow for a flexible, comfortable, adjustable fit for a range of sizes depending on how much back you like to show!
Enjoy!
