Hey all! My name is Jennifer, and I am the one behind all you see here! I have been sewing for years, getting into it when I first got to see Phish at the Clifford Ball in '96. Since then I've been bordering on obsession with sewing up patchies! I've followed a few tours, seen more than my share of awesome shows, and been lucky enough to spread my wears across the country to lots of smilin' faces :)

When I couldn't travel as much as I wanted (which is all the time!), I started selling on eBay. It was only a matter of time before I got a website up and running! My website has been in full gear since 2004, and is constantly evolving and growing! My hope is to pass along an unique expression of the individual convictions within, and to help kindle awareness of the strength and beauty surrounding us all.

I take tremendous care to create phatty, beautiful patchwork creations that are not only fun to wear, but also long-lasting and comfortable. I try to make everything adjustable to fit lots of sizes, and put in tons of patience and love to ensure travels, dancing, and washings won't be cause of any disintegration, all the while making my items affordable and unique so you know you've made a wise decision.

To make sure items last through many travels, I over-edge and double-stitch all the seams where need be, just as a serger does. Mostly I use cotton calicos and corduroys which I am in the practice of prewashing and preshrinking. This ensures a smooth and uniform finish and also tests out the integrity of the fibers and weaving in the cloth. Just to mix it up and make it more fun, I also collect every and anything that comes my way, so sometimes there'll be something unique and unpredictable included... (you wouldn't want me any other way ;)

Unless the item description says otherwise, you can be sure that the piece you're considering contains material salvaged from clothing found treasure hunting at the thrift shop, or traded in from friends. Often times searches through bins turn up with some of the best colors, designs, and quality. I prewash any and all recycled clothing before sewing and don't bother with any fabric pieces that are worn or thread-bare. This all keeps costs down so I can pass along deals to you!

There are times things do not come out quite perfect, so although I do not accept returns, I am all about hooking up repairs, if need be. In my experience thus far, examples of cases that have come up can be when a person underestimates the sizing and needs an adjustment, when the length needs adjusting, or worst case scenario, the fabric itself is not up to par, and needs replacing. Usually these situations just call for you to take care of the shipping costs.

Often, items on this site are listed concurrently on eBay or etsy as well. If the item's eBay auction has no bids and you're interested, I can end the auction to make it available to you. Otherwise, I cannot promise out that item unless the winner doesn't follow through. If it is on etsy, I can certainly end that listing if you'd prefer to buy directly through me, or you can purchase it there if you have an etsy account.

Another option in this case would be a custom order for a similar item in your size and colors. I'm happy to take time to email often as need be to communicate prices and details for what you have in mind.
